Short breaks for children and young people with disabilities

Closed 18 Feb 2018

Opened 21 Dec 2017

Overview

Bristol City Council has a statutory responsibility to provide a range of short breaks (previously known as respite). This is set out in our Short Breaks Statement jointly developed with Bristol Parent Carers (BPC).  Our Targeted Short Breaks services contracts for children and young people up to age 18 all end on 31 March 2019. We are consulting with parents and carers to help us develop options for future services. Your answers will help us shape services for children in the future.

Why We Are Consulting

What Happens Next

The results of this survey will contribute to short breaks options paper that will be consulted on in the spring/summer of 2018.
