Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2019-24

Closes 27 May 2019

Overview

There is a legal requirement for Local Authorities to have a five year homelessness and rough sleeping strategy that sets out information about:

  • The scale and causes of homelessness and rough sleeping in their city
  • How they will prevent and tackle homelessness and rough sleeping.

Bristol City Council is developing a new five year strategy as our current plan is out of date. Over the last six months work has been carried out, with input from a wide range of organisations, to develop a new strategy that better reflects current issues and priorities for tackling high levels of homelessness and rough sleeping in the city.

Draft Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2019-24

We are now carrying out this consultation to consolidate our pre-consultation engagement work, to inform citizens and to seek comments on the current draft.
