Bristol High Street Futures

Closes 2 Dec 2018

Opened 5 Sep 2018

Overview

Bristol’s high streets and shopping areas are vital to the city’s economy and its communities.

In addition to shopping, we recognise that these locations, whatever their size, are places where people work, meet, socialise and spend their leisure time.

We have developed three surveys aimed at different users of high streets and shopping areas to capture as wide a range of views as possible.

Why We Are Consulting

The information you provide in these surveys will inform an action plan that will be used to support the city’s high streets and shopping areas in the challenges they face.

Give Us Your Views

Bristol’s high streets and shopping areas are vital to the city’s economy and its communities. The information you provide in this survey will inform an action plan that will be used to support the city’s high streets and shopping areas.

We recognise that these locations, whatever their size offer more than shopping.  They are places where people work, meet, socialise and spend their leisure time.

We have developed three surveys aimed at different users of high streets and shopping areas to capture as wide a range of views as possible.

Survey 1 – This survey is for any business or any organisation that trades or occupies space in a high street or shopping area.  We’re interested in hearing from businesses and organisations of all types, for example offices, charities, retail shops, gyms, cafes, restaurants, hairdressers.

Survey 2 – This survey is for business/trader groups, business representative groups, community groups/organisations that represent or work on behalf of businesses or residents.

Survey 3 This survey is for individuals, both residents and visitors. We are interested in finding out how you use high streets and shopping areas and things that could be done to improve them.
